Chapter Seven Side Girl

Title: CEO's Replacement Bride

At Most, You Are Only Suitable to Be a Girl by My Side

When Yohan heard my words, his face was filled with disgust. He moved his hand away from my neck to my chin, sizing me up with indifference in his eyes, as if he were able to see through all my thoughts.

The silence in the car made my blood as cold as the autumnal air that crept through the open window and left with the scent of the alcohol.

After a while, he sneered, “What do you want?”

At this moment, I naively thought that he believed me, so I said, “I pressed my fingerprint on the wedding contract, as long as you don’t repress it with her, I’m all yours.”

The man immediately pushed me away, got into the driver’s seat, and remained silent.

However, after Yohan drove me home, he threw me into a bathtub filled with ice to try and sober me up, “Why do you think I would believe what you’ve said?.”

At that moment, I was already sober. With Yohan’s hatred toward me, how could he even believe me?

I dipped myself into the ice cold water and tried to think about all the things that have just happend. I then got out of the water and hugged him, after a while we went from the bathtub to the windowsill to the sofa and, finally, to the bed, doing every intimate position possible.

At this point, my body was covered with wounds, but i didn't want this moment to stop.

Finally, I fainted.

And when I woke up again, I was in a hospital. There was a white wall in front of me with a drip hanging on the bedside.

I was sober now.

Remembering what I said and what I did yesterday, I wished I could find a hole to hide in!

I stayed in the hospital for three days. And for the three days, other than the wounds on my body, I also had to apply ointment on my private parts. Although no one asked me why I was hospitalized, from the way the nurses looked at me, I knew they probably knew.

Yohan did not show up in the hospital these three days, even when I was discharged.

The first thing I did when I got out of the hospital was to call Stacy. Fortunately, she picked up the phone this time. After hearing about my situation, she took a taxi to the hospital, packed up my things, and took me to her old small room.

When I entered, I removed the clothes from the couch and sat down on it.

Stacy moved a small stool and sat beside me as she lit a cigarette, smoking it before asking, “Tell me what happened?”

Even though she was asking, she had already seen through everything on my face. Since I had no one to talk to, I told her about everything that had happened in the past few days.

Stacy listened as she smoked. After I finished speaking, she extinguished the cigarette in the ashtray beside her hand and clapped her hands. “You are not a tame little bunny anymore!”

“What?” I thought Stacy would scold me. Instead, she praised me, causing me to be petrified.

Stacy sat up straight and said with an experienced tone, “You, uh, don’t rush to go back to Yohan’s place. You should play hard to get.”

It was obvious that she wanted me to continue pestering Yohan. But on that night three days ago, even though I was drunk, I was not able to forget that heart-wrenching feeling. “Forget about it, I’m already terrified, he’s a beast!”

“You can’t just forget about it.” Stacy leaned over, sat down on the pile of clothes, and wrapped her arm around my neck. “How many years have you been dreaming about him every day? In the past, you even cut down the news about him from the newspaper. Now that he’s your husband, how could you just let him off this easily?”

I was startled when she said that.

That’s right. In the past, I longed to meet Yohan and marry him, didn’t I?

“I can stand behind you like a shadow chasing the light—”

Before she could finish, a melodious ringtone rang.

It was my phone. This tone had been my ringtone for years now. I remembered the first time I heard this song, I was on the verge of tears.

Yohan was probably that light to me, knowing that we would not end up together. Yet I still worked hard, trying to get better and stronger, hoping that one day, I would be on the same level as him, shaking his hand and introduced myself confidently.

When I took my phone out of my bag, a familiar number appeared on the screen, causing me to nearly throw my phone away.
